Serves 1 - 259 calories (Per serving) - 21.5g protein - 148g carbohydrates - 2g fat (3.9g saturated)

Ingredients

1/2 of a mug of macaroni

1/4 of a mug of boiling water

1/4 of a mug of milk

1/4 of a mug of grated cheese

1/4 of a mug of unflavored whey protein

1 tsp of chilli flakes (to taste)

Method

- To make this simple, you’re going to use your mug. Measure the pasta out and pour into a bowl with the boiling water on top. Put in the microwave on full for 2 minute intervals, stirring each time. The ‘mac’ should be done in 6-8 minutes.

- Now for the big ’n’ cheesy part. Mix together the milk and the protein, both of which will limit the blood-sugar spike of the pasta, then stir in the cheese and chilli. If you haven’t got unflavored whey, For the love of God! Do not make do with ‘chocolate brownie’ or ‘vanilla cheesecake’. Please!!!

- Pour your high-protein cheese mixture on top of the cooked pasta, add a bit of salt and pepper, then stick the lot back in the microwaves for another 30 second blast on high. Stir then repeat twice more. Then enjoy your fast, muscle fuel in comfort.
